Overview
The 2024 Jaguar F-Pace is the car that signs off an era. Launched in 2016 as Jaguar's first-ever SUV, the F-Pace became one of the brand's all-time best sellers — around 328,000 were built at JLR's Solihull plant in the West Midlands — and it picked up the 2017 World Car of the Year and World Car Design of the Year titles. For its final model year in the UK, Jaguar sent it off with the 90th Anniversary Edition, celebrating nine decades of Jaguar combustion engines before the brand's all-electric reinvention.
The UK 2024 range is built around R-Dynamic trims: R-Dynamic S, SE and HSE, each available as a 90th Anniversary Edition with subtle badging, sport seats with contrast stitching, an ebony headlining and aluminium interior trim. The engine line-up mixes 48-volt mild-hybrid diesels — the 204PS D200 and the 300PS six-cylinder D300 — with the P400e plug-in hybrid, which pairs a 2.0-litre petrol with an electric motor for 404PS and around 40 miles of electric-only driving. Crowing over them all is the SVR 575 Edition: a 575PS supercharged 5.0-litre V8 that remains one of the fastest ways to carry five people in silence-shattering style.
On the road, the F-Pace has always been the driver's choice among premium mid-size SUVs, and that is still true in its final year. The aluminium-intensive chassis gives it a lightness and balance that rivals such as the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC cannot quite match, while the cabin — rebuilt around the 11.4-inch curved Pivi Pro touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster — finally feels properly premium. Boot space is 601 litres on regular models, falling to 485 litres on the P400e because the battery sits under the floor.
Prices for the final 2024 cars started at £47,535 for the D200 R-Dynamic S 90th Anniversary Edition, rising to £63,020 for the D300 R-Dynamic HSE. As Jaguar quietly stopped selling new cars in the UK in late 2024, these last F-Paces are already an attractive used buy — early 2024 cars now change hands from the mid-£20,000s. Buy on condition and service history, and remember the P400e is the pick for company-car drivers thanks to its low Benefit-in-Kind tax.

Pros
- Still one of the best cars in its class to drive, with genuine Jaguar character
- Handsome, distinctive styling inside and out that aged far better than its German rivals
- P400e plug-in hybrid brings strong pace, ~40-mile electric range and low company-car tax
- British-built in Solihull — buying one keeps money in UK manufacturing heritage
- Final-year 90th Anniversary cars are generously equipped and already tempting as used buys
Cons
- P400e's battery cuts boot space from 601 to 485 litres — noticeable on family trips
- Owner reports flag niggly electrical faults, squeaks and rattles — inspect carefully before buying
- Diesels need proper long runs: watch for DPF clogging and AdBlue faults
- No seven-seat option, unlike some rivals in this price bracket
