Overview

The facelifted Tesla Model 3 2024 — known as Highland — fixes almost everything owners disliked about the original. Build quality is up, road noise is down, and the cabin gains a rear touchscreen, ventilated front seats and ambient lighting. The Long Range version covers up to 421 miles on a charge, one of the best figures of any EV at this price, while even the rear-wheel-drive model manages 344 miles. Tesla's Supercharger network remains its trump card: plug in anywhere in Britain and charging simply works, with billing handled automatically. Autopilot comes standard with adaptive cruise and lane centring. Running costs are tiny — home charging at off-peak rates can cost under 3p per mile — and Benefit-in-Kind tax is just 2 percent. Rivals like the BMW i4 and Polestar 2 feel plusher, but nothing matches the Model 3's blend of range, charging and value.
